Fourth, in Psalm 148 creation and redemption are integrated. Although the psalm contains many linguistic echoes of the narrative of creation by Elohim in Genesis 1, it is significant that here the creator is repeatedly called Yahweh, who revealed Himself as the gracious covenant Lord of Israel in Exodus 3:13–15 and 34:6–7.
